It’s a mad, mad, mad world out there. And here you are, with your business, trying to reach out to your ideal clients, to make yourself heard over the din of all those electronic voices, shouting out their noise.
Every day the digital dialogue gets louder and louder. Everyone has a website, a Facebook page, a Twitter account. Linked In is linked in, and we tweet and post and speak our piece. And we get drowned out, buried in the avalanche of tools and toys and methods.
What do you do? How do you put together an effective set of tools that will get you seen and heard, and make it easy for your tribe to find you? And how can you use it to multiply yourself, so you’ve got more time for the *important stuff*?
You read and study, you research and surf, you buy all these ‘shiny things’ that promise to ‘change your life’ and ‘make tons of money’ and you end up with a ginormous pile of links, articles, references, handouts, videos and seminars that *finally*……………………….confuse you even more.
#HelpMeFigureItOut you cry!
There are so many choices, so much technology, and they all claim to be the best, most useful, tools.
But what do you choose? How can you decide what is right for *your* business?
Why, you Zen out, of course! Let go, and get the support you need to dig through the piles, find the needles in *your* haystack and decide what your digital picture needs to look like. My job is to work with people just like you – business owners needing to use technology to make their business work better. You don’t have to go it alone any more.
I love helping people break it all down, zero in on what *really* matters, and build up a new picture, a blueprint that will give you all the pieces you need to create a solid, manageable, *reliable* engine that will give you a voice in the wilderness, get you seen and heard by your tribe, and create a pathway for business to find *you*, and that will grow with you as your business grows.
It’s the Tao of Technology. And it’s what I do. I’m a long-time geek that speaks ‘people’. And I can help you design your blueprint and get it all up and running so you’ll have that powerful engine out there, bringing people to you, getting your words out to the people who need you and your products and services, and showing these people how your business helps them with what they need most.
So welcome to *my* tribe. I’m so glad you’re here! And I’d love to hear more about what *you* need to help you get what you want!
Request a complimentary consultation with me and lets figure out what 'the Right Stuff' looks like for your business!
Tao of Tech
I’m a geek, through and through. Top to bottom. And because I work with people who need people like me, I have to stay up on what is happening out there in cyberspace. Because, dude, it moves at *lightspeed*. The things that worked great 2 years or even a year ago on social media are Old News today, and that can make the different between helping my clients to get things moving, and helping them to make *MASSIVE* change and make lots more sales.
I’m all about lots more sales for my clients.
So I’ll be attending this online (Yes,… Continue reading →
Twitter is the social media equivalent of a party, that networking event where everyone is circulating with a drink, having short conversations with each other. Some are eating the yummy snacks, others are getting another drink, and still others are lurking in the corners and near the walls, watching and listening, but not interacting much.
There are all kinds of people and businesses on Twitter. How much you use it, and how useful it will be to your business depends on whether your target market spends time there. I’ve included some demographics here to give you some ideas of who… Continue reading →
Social media is everywhere these days. We have Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn. There is Pinterest, and Instagram, Hubspot and Google+. Wikipedia shows 213 active social media sites at this time. And the landscape is always changing.
It’s easy to get overwhelmed, and spread yourself so thin that you can’t keep up. I know people that maintain a presence on 10 or even 15 sites, and my first thought is always, ‘When do they find time to run their businesses?’
The answer is, they don’t. They spend their time updating their status, posting pictures, setting up boards, or surfing other people’s… Continue reading →
Reach out, reach out and touch someone! (Anyone older than 40 probably remembers the jingle this came from.)
To get business, we need to get in front of people. For some that is speaking in person. For others, that might be giving online talks.
While nothing beats an in-person talk, the teleseminar is an awesome alternate way, especially if your tribe is all over the place.
There are many ways you can ‘reach out and touch’ your target market and clients:Your newsletter (like this)
- Blog posts
- Social media posts
- Local talks at places like the Chamber of Commerce, networking meetings,… Continue reading →
